#002 Colored Glass

I’ve been seeing a lot of beautiful images with colored glass floating around lately. I’m intrigued. Having never worked colored glass into a project before, I’m beginning my exploration by contacting a few glass companies to get samples so that I can see them in person. This one, a line adorably called “Jelly Bean” by Bendheim is lovely.

In hand, this glass has a strong, saturated color, is very translucent, and a bit of iridescent. The samples arrived in a very charming Tiffany-esque box.
